YES they fit in but if you have insulation they may be snug.

Is the Light Bulb that Lights the Counter Top Covered by Warranty?
Ours was defective out of the box. Press the Light On button and it flickered a time or two and then out. Of course it's some kind of "special" bulb so where can I get it and what is the replacement part number?
Most stores carry appliance bulbs, but I would recommend bringing the bad bulb with you to be sure you get the correct bulb.

if it goes in easy and does not leak then I would say yes , just don't force it.
