I ended up returning this... not b/c it did not perform. I just found that for the money, I could get more. I ended up with two wireless, battery powered, blue tooth speakers that combined are about as loud but not a clear... however cost about 1/3 of this one speaker and don't require being plugged in.

Unfortunately, that did not always work so well. One speaker or the other would stop playing and then struggle to get both linked back up. It was frustrating b/c we got these to use with a small party.
