I bought this to replace a four year old failed one (a different brand) about two months ago.
It is working well and quickly brought my basement humidity down from 68% to 52%, then to 50%. I have it set on auto dry and it shuts off at 48-50%.
We have a dog bath near it and yesterday, after bathing two large dogs, it quickly dropped the humidity in the area down from 58 to 50% and dried the concrete floor.
I use a drain hose an not the bucket.
I did buy the Geek Squad four year warranty.
