When you want to get your mom something special, but you want to put next to no thought into it, giftcards it is! My mom likes Starbucks, so it's all good.
Marvel just added another Sherlock to their superhero lineup. The first one has worked out well for them, and so far, the second one is doing great too. Plus, they are awesome-facial-hair bros. Benedict Cumberbatch is funny and becomes the hero we need in the Marvel Universe right now. In classic Marvel fashion, this movie is fun, funny, action-packed, well-cast and has an actually good story.
Now for the steelbook itself. It's got all you could want, DVD, blu-ray, digital, 3D. Everything available out there today. Except for 4K, cause, like, who's got 4K anyways? The steelbook case is pretty cool and sets it apart from other versions of the home movie.
Pretty Strange, eh? (...I honestly thought I'd have more Strange puns in here)
Loved the Power Rangers Samurai when it came out. It was new, but also paid nice homage to the old school rangers. But what could make it better? Make it super! New zords, new suits, and even new rangers. Oh, and it's got Bulk & Skull...err, I mean Spike. Look, it ain't Shakespeare, it's Power Rangers. It's fun, so don't take it too seriously.
The Teen Titans make their mark in this animated DC Universe movie. It's a slightly different spin on their origins as a team, but pretty true to the spirit of the Teen Titans. It's fun and Cyborg makes a good transition as well. Not my favorite of the DC animated movies, but still fun and it did a good job of showcasing each character.
Oh, and you get a neato Robin figure. Can't beat that? ...well, unless you are Nightwing.

This is a good improvement on older models of fitbits. It's much smaller and versatile than other versions. It fits about anywhere, and it's super easy to put in the different jewelry holders and such that are available. It does NOT have a standalone visual interface, so no watch, etc. You'll have to get all your info on the app and such. But, it's easy to wear and you can now make it match your outfit if you get the write accessory with it.
This was a really fun movie and I really enjoy watching it. It's not a bad family movie either, though I recommend parents watch it first to make your own judgement there. It's fun and a good popcorn movie.
Having grown up in the 80's, I am a big fan of the originals. I thought this film did a good job to pay homage to the originals. If it didn't, the main original cast would not have all done cameos. It has decent humor, fun action, and an overall good plot. Look, I'm not saying it's the greatest movie ever. There are certainly parts that could have been improved. The 4 ladies as the Ghostbusters all are very talented and funny, but I feel there was a bit more potential they didn't quite reach. I'd totally watch and buy any sequel, if we were ever fortunate enough to get it. Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones were the real break-out stars to me in the movie. I'm definitely going to watch their careers going forward.
The steelbook was pretty cool and the artwork was really fun. The extras on the disc were great too. The extended edition was worth it.
Crazy ride of a movie...even it doesn't make sense

One of the craziest superhero movies out there, the Suicide Squad is really fun to watch. The movie itself seems like a lot of great moments and scenes just thrown together. It's a really fun ride...even if you don't really know where they are going with it throughout most of the movie. The story is "meh" at best, but the characters and their performances are super enjoyable. The less you think about it, the more you'll love it. I'd watch this movie over and over, just don't expect some well thought out plot.
The 3D blu-ray pack has plenty of extras, well worth it. The extended edition is pretty darn cool too.
This release features the complete second season of The CW's original superhero series The Flash, based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen and his speedy alter ego Flash, played by Grant Gustin. In season two, Flash is forced into action when the multiverse has spawned a new arch enemy - Zoom - and threatens to destroy Central City. All 23 episodes from the second season are included, as well as behind the scenes bonus features in this Steelbook collector's edition.
The Flash season 2 proves it could get wackier and weirder, while still getting better. It's a lot more Flash fun with the introduction of Earth 2 and a whole bevy of speedsters and other meta-humans. The stakes are high for the Flash and it gets pretty fun along the way. Overall, it's everything you want in a superhero TV show, crazy sci-fi elements, good writing, relatable and fun superheroes, and plenty of action along the way.
The complete first season of the CW original superhero action series Legends of Tomorrow follows the time travelling Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) who goes back in time to assemble a superhero team to fight an evil dictator and prevent the future murder of his family. Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller, and Caity Lotz star in the series, with all 16 episodes from the first season collected in this release.
Just when you thought those CW superhero shows couldn't get any wackier, they come out with the unlikely "Legends of Tomorrow". A "best of the rest" cast from the other CW superhero shows, it actually makes for a really fun and entertaining show. The cast is pretty big, but they each have their moments to shine. It's actually my favorite of the CW shows. Probably the most comicbooky show on air today.
