This cable modem works very well with Time Warner Cable. Achieved 240 mb/s right out of the box, about three times the speed of my previous Arris 6141 modem. The secret is this modem locks to 16 channels download compared to 8 channels with the Arris. Very steady performance.

Not ready for prime time

I purchased this set to upgrade from my current LG set. I could not see much difference in picture quality. The set out of the box seemed to be out of adjustment. The presets seemed to be not very well thought out. I worked a considerable amount of time to get an acceptable picture, and it was only just about as good as what I already had. I took this set back for a refund.

Great washer for the price

This washer does an excellent job. We switched to this washer after returning a Whirlpool Cabrio washer that vibrated excessively. This Samsung washer is quiet and very efficient. It seems to use less water than our old one. From what I can tell, it is very well built. It even plays a little song when the wash is complete.

The user has to be in just the correct position to use the device. One cannot be too far away or anywhere to the left side of the camera (facing the camera). Aim has to be directly at the camera. The result is many failed attempts to make it work. We've given up a few times and just set the timer.

Good resolution. Easy to set up and use.White balance sometimes takes a little while to settle in to the proper setting. Be sure to use the 32GB level 10 SD card. Those who want internal memory should consider the R50, but if you don' t mind the lack of internal memory , this camera saves you good money.

Is this modem compatible with time warner cable?
Yes. It is completely compatible. When you plug it in, you must call Time Warner Cable's internet support line. They will ask you for the MAC address. It is printed on the bottom. Within five to twenty minutes, your modem will be provisioned by TWC and it will work great. I am regularly seeing 240 mb/s with mine.

Lag time
What is the lag time when turning on the tv and when changing from channel to channel?
This is common with digital television sets. It takes a few seconds for the television's engines to build the picture from the data feed.

Whats the difference between the $19.99 and the $59.99 SD cards?
Everything is in the recording speed. Class 10 cards record data faster than Class 4 cards. This is important when you are using cards to record video or high quality stills (i.e, 18 megapixel stills). The faster the card, the higher the price.

Will it work for the sl1?
Yes, it works with the Rebel SL-1. You have to be just the right distance away and at the proper angle. Technically, it works. In the field, it is inconsistent.
