It took me months to choose between the 5D Mark III and the 7D Mark II. I chose the 7D Mark II because of the faster shutter speeds and the overall functionality. I spend more time outdoors taking pictures usually of sports or animals, landscapes, etc. The faster shutter speed really helps. the 7D Mark II does not have full frame, it is cropped but in my personal opinion the 7D is worth it.
