I have waited a long time for this DVD, as it never was able for separate sale until now. It is good to see Jim and Arte together again , 10 years after the series ended. I remember seeing these on TV back during their original broadcast, I find that I have grown more fond of these movies with age. They were not quite as serious as the series was, but they are still pretty good. The first movie (Revisited) is the better of the two, but both are fun. The video quality of the first movie is better than that of the second. With the soundtrack music of the series just being released, this has been a good year for fans of the Wild Wild West.

Denver & Rio Grande was based off of the actual actual history of the railroad. Though it is somewhat embellished, it is none the less an enjoyable movie. The principal filming was filmed on the Durango and Silverton branch line, and despite what the title says, this is not a colorized movie, it was in fact filmed in full, vivid Technicolor. The image quality is excellent, especially on this Blu-Ray version. If you like railroad or western themed movies, you'll definitely want to add this to your collection.
In the 1870s West, a boozing, womanizing novelist assumes the identity of his literary hero and teams with an inventor to preserve justice and defend the defenseless. This release collects every episode from the series. Richard Dean Anderson and John de Lancie co-star.

Legend was one of these great little shows that I almost forgot about as it's been 20 years since I last saw it. The wonderful interplay of Richard Dean Anderson (who plays Earnest Pratt aka Nicodemus Legend) and John De Lancie as Hungarian inventor Janos Christoph Bartok ( very much a Tesla inspired character) is what made this show work. Like The adventures of Brisco County, this show's run was way to short. If you liked Brisco and the Wild Wild West, you'll like Legend also.

This movie is not your average horse movie. This movie is about the love of a boy for a horse and the story takes a path that spans over several continents, ultimately ending up on Mickey Rooney's farm. One might say that the boy and the horse have a symbiotic relationship which grows over the course of the movie. A bit slow at first, but the movie ends in a glorious crescendo. Great for kids of all ages.
