I recently bought this due to cutt No the cord from DIRECTV and moving to DIRECTV NOW. While I was using the Roku as my steaming device to all of the online content, it was not capable with DIRECTV NOW. Since using the new Apple TV, it has taken some time to learn the new remote versus the ROKU remote. Also, the services (channels) my wife used on ROKU were not available on the Apple TV. Now having to buy a new TV with more HDMI slots so that we have both the Apple TV and ROKU.

I have tell you that upgrading from 2nd generation to 3rd generation is worth it in my opinion. The view across the room is a big asset. I did not think it was a big deal at first but now it really helps my old eyes!
Just be aware that you will need to used the new baseplate as the 3rd generation has changed the size of it and is not backward compatible.

A little pricey but delivers on sound quality. I absolutely needed something that could provide much better sound quality for my office TV. The TV speakers were terrible!
I did some research and came across this speaker. Most sound bars were too long and did not fit into the space in the cabinet where my TV was stored. This fit in easily. Sound great and is way better than the TV speakers.

Okay, I had great hopes for this antenna since I wanted to replace an existing antenna. My current antenna requies me to run a cable from the TV to the antenna which i had to place about 10 feet away in order to get the most local channels. After reading reviews, I thought I woukd give it a try. Well to put it bluntly, it did not deliver to expectations. I had more channels and better receptions with my existing antenna.

Like most streaming devices, it supports Netflix which all devices do. However, the ability to screencast from all of my devices (laptop, tablet and phone) makes all of the difference. While we have a a smart TV which has some apps for streaming, none of our TVs had the screencast abilities. Sharing content from our many devices has never been easier.

Can I use FIOS and the antenna?
I have Fios, but want MeTV, etc. Can I hook up the antenna to the TV with the Fios box (cable splitter) and just have one on at a time?
Connect the antenna to the antenna jack and use the source button to select TV. If the signal is strong enough for the local broadcast of me.tv, you will be in luck!
