I only rated it a good because I miss how quickly my other coffee maker made the coffee. However, I did not want it to be heating water continuously and it died on me, so we bought this. The coffee is very, very hot. This is good if you are not prone to drinking it quickly. I find I do not have to warm it up as much. The taste is great! No problems with the water measurement. After all, it is on the coffee pot how much you are putting in. Why would you have to see it on the outside of the machine? Very easy to use and not disappointed.

Removed the built up lime

I bought it to clean my floors and to use in the bathroom. I have wood floors. My husband says he notices a difference on the floors. I had built up lime on the faucets in the shower. This took it right off. It took a little time, but it worked better then any chemical I tried. I was really pleased with the product.

Water just sits in the insert filter. Received this from among my mother's possessions after she died. No book. Should I take this in to Best Buy to have them look at it? I'm unfamiliar with This type of coffee maker. Machine appears to work at first.

is it good for laminate wood fioors?
I don't see why not. It should work well.

Travertine floors
Hi can I use this in travertine floors? will it make it more pores? My floors are not sealed.
Well I use it on unsealed wood floors. It dries rather quickly.

what was i doing wrong
I could not get steam the first time I used the machine
It takes a little while to heat up. But if it doesn't I would call Bissell.
