Super Headset for an average price!

I have owned 20+ headsets in the past 5 years and they range from cheap headsets to $400 plus headsets and this one beats them all!
The Stealth 700 Gen 2 is built specifically for gaming and there are 2 varieties (PS and Xbox). It can also be used with Nintendo switch while in docked mode.
First of all, these headsets work with anything that is Bluetooth capability, but have specific capabilities for Ps4 and the upcoming Ps5.
What's in the box:

- USB to USB- C charging cable
- Quick setup guide
- USB Bluetooth nano transmitter
Build quality:
The build quality is very good and comparable to higher price headphones. The frame is made of matte black plastic with soft touch and the band is an adjustable metal band which clicks every time you expand it. The padding for the head and ears is made of memory foam and it is very comfortable even after hours of wearing. The ear pads are removable and replaceable if you needed to. The placement of the buttons is very good and well thought of. The mic is on the left side and if you flip it back to place it automatically mutes the mic and it doesn’t get in the way. The headset has a tilt movement at the ears where you can tilt the ear pieces left or right until you find the perfect position on your face.
The ear cups are made of pleather or fake leather and I find the thickness of the ear cups perfect and again, very comfortable to wear for long hours. They also keep your ears cool and they can be used while wearing glasses with no issues at all.
Headset weight: although these are wireless headsets with 20 hour play time on a single full charge, they are relatively light and didn’t cause any discomfort while wearing them to play or during conference calls.
Sound quality:
The sound quality is great and very clear with high highs and very low lows. the sound is so immersive while wearing this headset, and the mic is very clear when using it for chat and very low latency rate.
The sound and mic features can be configured by downloading the turtle beach app. The app has many features and presets that can get you to your desired setting and you can use the mappable button on the headset to move between the eq profiles and a dial to change between functions.
Connectivity:
This headset is very easy to connect via Bluetooth enables devices and also via the USB Bluetooth transmitter and it is plug and play. It also supports multiple connections with the device at the same time.
Battery life:
I was able to get close to 18 hours of mixed use of this headset on a single charge. This is so under-rated and it is a huge pro for this headset at this price point.
Conclusion:
I can’t recommend this enough as it has it all at a great price.

final thoughts:
the Sennheiser CX 400BT earbuds have superior sound and very comfortable for extended every day use. the long battery life frees you from worry, and the case offers a sturdy storage and charging option. I wouldn't use them in the rain or when working out though since there is no IPS rating, and they do not offer noise cancellation so I wouldn't use them if I wanted to isolate from the outside world noise.

The Ninja foodi power pitcher system is not the first Ninja product i own.
i have been using a Ninja nutriBullet smoothie maker for the past 2 years and it never failed to impress. which made the decision to buy the power pitcher system a no brainer.
This unit replaces a lot of kitchen appliances with its compact yet multiple accesories as it can make:
- Dough mixing
- food processing
- extract
- nut butters of all kinds made to your taste
- smoothies
- ice crushing
- baby food
the pitcher has a peak power of 1400 watts which is very sufficient and enough to make anything blend!
In the box:
- base
- 72 oz pitcher with pitcher lid that has a pour spout
- 14 oz nutri bowl with storage lid
- 24 oz nutri cup with pour spout
- blade for crushing or chopping
- dough blade
- power paddle to push thick ingredients down towards the blade which minimizes blending time
- all the above except for the base is dishwasher safe
- the unit has a dial for speed control, or you can use the IQ for automatic torque option which was the best for my choice.
pros:
- very good price
- versatile mixer/ blender/ food processor which saves space in the kitchen and in storage. we kept it on the kitchen counter as we will be using it every day

Decent Security camera system for home or office

This is my 3rd set of Night Owl security system with DVR in 3 years, I use 2 systems in our medical offices and just got this one for my home.
Setup is fairly easy if you know your way around tools and don't mind drilling a few holes to secure the cameras and spread the cables behind walls or up the ceiling.
the app allows you to add multiple devices which means I can use the same Night owl app to see all three DVR's and name them office 1, office 2, and home. with each DVR supporting up to 16 cameras (this only comes with 4) it means you can buy add on cameras from night owl to satisfy your needs.
the night vision video quality is great and very acceptable for the use and price of this security system.
the setup is very straight forward but you will need to have a monitor for the initial setup (the system comes with a mouse for the initial setup or if you have a closet where you will install the DVR and keep it there).
Pros:
very easy to install
very easy to use app
nice looking
small DVR size which looks good
has a 1TB hard drive preinstalled
the search option and playback work great
can stream the feed on your Google home enabled screens (it took a lot of work to setup though).
Cons:
Face detection isn't the greatest but the image and video quality is decent

great security camera for the price!

The Lorex security camera is a great option for affordable Indoor home security camera that packs a lot of features:
whats in the box
- Lorex Security Camera
- Pre inserted 16 GB Micro SD card
- Micro USB to USB A cable
- USB power Adapter with 1 Amp output
- Universal mount bracket
- mount kit
- Quick start guide in English, Spanish, and french
Setup:
- I unpacked the camera, connected it to the power adapter, waited until the led light on the camera turned to solid green per the instructions, downloaded the Lorex home app, followed the instructions to add a new device, scanned the QR code, and the rest was automatic and took less than a minute. once installation was complete I went to Lorex home app and it started a quick tutorial to show me how to control the camera from the app.
everything was seamless and all advertised features worked great and fast. the pan, tilt, and zoom options are snappy to respond and very easy to use through the Lorex home app, you also have to options to record SD, and HD. I found the SD acceptable and it saves space on the Micro SD card which I plan to replace with the max the Camera can support which is 256 GB.
the camera has a 2 way microphone option and it streams sound as well when you open the app.
the night vision is very acceptable and does what it should flawlessly.
The video quality is up to 1920 X 1080
The camera connects on 2.4 gh wireless network, or by plugging an Ethernet cable in its back (which is better for quality and streaming delay, and more secure).
Pros:
The camera is very easy to setup and very easy to use.
I was able to connect the camera to my google home app and to stream the camera feed to my google devices like Google nest screen, and my Google assistant enabled TV by simply asking Google assistant to stream my lorex feed to one of the connected devices.
You can take pictures from within the video incase you needed to.
there is a privacy mode where the camera lens will tilt and be covered inside the casing and the microphone will stop recording. you can reach it by simply opening the app and press the privacy mode button to enable or disable it.

the field of view is an absured 135 degrees which provides an ultra wide view
the Camera is very fast and responsive.
you have your own storage and there is no need for a monthly subscription. when the SD card is full the camera automatically start recording over the oldest recording on the SD card.
With the push notifications option, you can decide how many notifications the app sends to your phone (extremely handy when leaving the house for a weekend or a few days).
Cons:
there is really nothing much here, but it would've been great if:
1- the camera had a follow option where it would follow movement on its own when a mode that allows it is enabled (again when travelling or out of the house)

made my old monitor and projector usable again

The Belkin USB-C to VGA+ charge adapter was the solution to hook up an older monitor and an older projector to my laptop to display from my laptop to those legacy devices.
there is no setup required, its just plug and play and you instantly see the output from the laptop on the monitor or Projector.
the adapter is small enough to fit in my laptop bag when am on the fly and takes literally no space.
i recommend this to anyone with an old VGA monitor which can be turned into a secondary screen with this little adapter. its worth every penny.

Great low mid- end 4K Android TV with a lot of cap

Unboxing:
Nothing unusual here, it came in a standard colored box with 2 Styrofoam protectors on top and bottom, and 2 Styrofoam protectors on the sides, and a panel size cardboard protection for the screen and the tv itself was covered with a thin layer of Styrofoam bag to protect it from scratches.
In the box was also the 2 piece stand, the guide, the remote control and 2 batteries to operate it, and the power cable.
Nothing unusual here, it came in a standard colored box with 2 Styrofoam protectors on top and bottom, and 2 Styrofoam protectors on the sides, and a panel size cardboard protection for the screen and the tv itself was covered with a thin layer of Styrofoam bag to protect it from scratches.

Setup took less than 5 minutes after the tv was hooked to electricity, and was very simple and seamless.

The TV default setting is Eco mode which isn’t good at all and it wouldn’t let you get the full potential of this TV. Out of the many settings available I found the Theater day mode is the best mode to get the purest picture quality and deep colors among all other settings.
You are also able to control other settings manually like sharpness, brightness, white balance to get the best possible picture for your own setting.
The TV also comes with Game mode that uses the Motion Rate of 240 to enhance the speed of refresh rate to decrease the lag and it does it very well with all types of consoles.

Bezel:
The bezel size is very decent and almost non existent and I think it’s a great deal for a budget TV like this.

Memory:
This TV comes with 4 Giga Bites of memory to download apps and use which is normal, but I think all brands should up the memory a little bit and I wouldn't recommend downloading a lot of apps that you dont really use because this will make the TV slower to load apps since the memory is very limited and the more free the memory is, the faster the TV will react.

This HiSense is a great budget 4K tv with Android TV and it has a very good picture and sound quality. it gives you a lot of control over the settings and the interface is very easy to use and its universal.

Omen by HP Mindframe Prime Wired Gaming Headset - Black is a beautiful, comfortable, with great bass, midrange, and high's sound quality that would make every user/ gamer fall in love with this headset.
Design: this headset design follows the OMEN by HP industrial black and red design lines and provides a very sexy looking headset that is all black with the OMEN logo on each side of the headset that illuminates its frame in red when the headset is connected to a PC.
the USB wire is black, and the wire connecting the right and left headset is red.
The microphone works when you pull it down close to your mouth and the tip is dark. meaning the mic if on, when you push it back up to the side of the headset the tip goes goes red meaning its off.
volume dial is a dial which is way more practical for my personal preference than a button up and down as it might be confusing when using the headset.
Comfort:
the headset is extremely comfortable and my ears fit completely inside the headset which won't cause any strain over long use, and the headset top band rest is very balanced and comfortable in distributing the weight of the headset for comfortable long time use.
Volume:
the volume is more than satisfying and high while keeping the sound quality very good at high volumes for a headset with this price range.
distortion is minimal and I was able to enjoy the headset while gaming, listening to music, and during skype/ zoom calls as well.
Price:
I think the OMEN headset is priced right. its not too expensive, and its a brand you can trust the quality of.
I strongly recommend the HP OMEN MINDFRAME PRIME headset to anyone who wants a great quality product that is not extremely expensive.

The software is not as user friendly as i thought it would be, the application interface looks like something from the early 2000's. I think its a bit intimidating for not so computer savvy users. While other softwares rely a lot on being very user friendly with simplified and clear steps to help navigate the different forms, I found H&R to be a little bit crammed.
Using the software:
H&R block is by all means a complete solution if you chose the premium business version. It has all the forms necessary, and the great feature of chatting with a real tax expert when you have a question related to the use of the software. I found this to be a great feature that I relied on heavily.
You can also drag & drop, or upload your tax return from the previous year, upload your W-2's or simply enter the EIN for your employer and the software will look up your W-2 online and grab it based on your SSN & the EIN of your employer.
Since you have paid for this software it includes free filing which is similar to competitors.
The biggest strength of this software is that if you are a business owner with complicated forms and do not want to hire a tax specialist, this software will get the job done but will be time consuming.
For a simple tax filing return this is an over kill, but it does the job fast.

This wireless shooting grip is a must have for vlogging while stationary or on the move.
I use it with my Sony A6100, and I am very happy with this accessory.
Design:
The design is very ergonomic, and its grip is well made, and sturdy. It can be carried easily whether you have big or small hands.
angle adjustment is easy to quickly change the camera direction, it also have a built in mini tripod with tilt function.
The controller is also designed to repel dust and moisture.
Connection:
Connecting the grip to the camera is very simple: it uses Bluetooth connection to be wire free.
First time setup requires you to navigate through the camera menu To enable Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth remote function, and to pair the camera with the controller. Then simply on the controller, press photo button and the T side of zoom button to pair the camera and controller and you are done.

I purchased this item, a LG television, and a Pixel XL the same day. Can not get my cell connected, phone will not give me any options in the cast window. Downloaded the screen beam app and still nothing. Help.
All devices should be connected to the same wifi network in order for them to interact with each others. you do not need to download a screen sharing app like screen beam as both your AirTV and your Google Pixel Xl have google cast built in. check your wifi setting and follow the instructions carefully to hook up the devices together.

Not yet, but I was able to use Google cast from my phone to watch my DirecTV channels with zero lag or issue.

Is it going to use GPS for direction just like any other Garmin GPS devices or some aid from phone app?
It uses its own GPS direction and does not need help from the phone.

Does it provide parked car monitoring; recording events by motion and g-sensor while unoccupied? (Car off, no phone connected. Understand power would still need to be supplied.)
No it does not work when phone is not connected via Bluetooth.

it does not have a rechargeable battery, and it doesn't use your phone data as it has its own GPS receiver.

From what I can tell from the photos, it only has a basic display showing arrows and distances (just like many 1st gen GPS's in the 90s). Can the display show dashcam images? Also, is there a way to have the GPS map displayed on the phone navigating?
the answer to both questions is no. you can't see dash images on the device itself but you can on your phone and you can share across social media or save it to your phone (depending on your phone).
