After having another hard to use and hard to empty shredder, this has been a dream come true! It is quiet, easy to use and empty and works wonderfully! We love this shredder!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why can't you line the receptacle with a well-fitted plastic bag? It would make emptying so easy!

I think that the fit between the canister and the shredder would be too tight for adding a plastic bag. It really isn't a big deal to take the whole container to a trash can and empty it.
