If you like night lights then ignore my review. I bought this for my wife but quickly found out there was just too much going on with the lighting. I thought there would be an option disable the lighting but maybe keep a very dim backlit clock display...it doesn't. It sounds really good though so that is a major plus.

I love this speaker for bluetooth streaming only! the built in mic is not good for hands-free calling. It picks up all background noise. It does however have great sound. I use it outside/inside when working in the house or in the yard. I would give it 5 stars if it had longer battery life and a better mic. Of course this would bring up the price...

Considering the small size of this clock it has really great sound. The bluetooth range is impressive also. If you unplug the AC power from the unit it will prevent an annoying beep when a paired device is in range.

is there an output jack for headphones
There is no head phone jack...but you don't need one. This unit was made to provide music from it's speaker via bluetooth. You should connect your headphones directly to the device that is streaming music to the clock.
