Originally produced for Fox television, Fox changed their minds and CW picked it up, Fox is now kicking itself for turning down what may possibly be the best Superhero show on television. With a mind blowing premise, phenomenal acting and a stunningly realistic portrayal of a real Black family, Black Lightning was the surprise hit of the season!
This is a Dick Grayson story. It shows Dick's struggle to maintain all of Bruce's more endearing qualities and avoid his many faults and psychological windfalls that make him a complex, but also a difficult person to understand, let alone care about. One of the best animated superhero tales I have ever seen!
This show did more to expand upon and delineate the Blade mythos than both of the last two films put together. Not only were the stories engaging, but the acting was top notch! Highly recommended for Blade fans and Vampire fans alike!
With out a doubt, "It Follows is the most original horror film to be released in the last 20 years! It took me a little while to realize what the monster was, but when I did, my mind was totally blown! A truly unique approach to the horror lore of the succubus! Horror fans take heed!
The complete fourth season of the intriguing artificial intelligence justice drama is included on six DVDs. Join John Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) as they team up with Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi) and Root (Amy Acker) as they evade the all-knowing Samaritan intelligence while solving crimes. Episodes include "Panopticon," "Nautilus," "Wingman," and more.
Another friend, lost, or is she? Persons of Interest is probably the best written show on television! Carefully layered with stand-alone stories and additions to the show's mythology, Persons of Interest weaves a complicated, but fascinating tale of modern technology and intrique.
The third season of this horror anthology series is set primarily at a secret school for witches in New Orleans. After an absence in Season 2, Taissa Farmiga returns to the show as Zoe Benson, a young woman who unexpectedly discovers that she possesses a dangerous supernatural ability. She's sent to the special Louisiana school--which is run by Headmistress Cordelia Foxx (Sarah Paulson)--where she embarks on spell-filled adventures with fellow witches Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts), Nan (Jamie Brewer) and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe). Jessica Lange is also back as Fiona Goode, a powerful witch chasing eternal life, while Evan Peters plays frat boy Kyle Spencer in his return. Other familiar faces include Denis O'Hare and Lily Rabe, while newcomers Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett bring fresh excitement to the talented cast.

American Horror Story continues to find fresh and exciting ways to tackle familiar horror themes. One may think the continual use of certain actors would be a hindrance, but it serves to keep a familiar face in wildly different situations, which puts many fans at ease.
The fourth season of The Walking Dead finds Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) desperate to rediscover his own humanity and preserve what he can of his son Carl's (Chandler Riggs) childhood through reinventing himself as a farmer while a counsel including Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) in addition to several Woodbury ex-pats take on leadership roles. His newfound sense of peace is quickly derailed, however, when a mysterious illness begins to decimate the community. Elsewhere, the disgraced Governor (David Morrissey) roams the apocalyptic streets on his own until happening upon a family of survivors who reignite both his will to survive and take revenge against Rick, who he blames for the loss of Woodbury. Following a massacre at the prison, the group is splintered into several factions, none of whom can be sure about the fates of the others, and forced to find shelter among a population of survivors that can pose as much and often more of a threat than the walkers themselves.
The fourth season of "The Walking Dead" starts where it left off at the end of the third season, but it quickly quiets down and embarks on several solo journeys taken by several of the regulars matched in unusual pairs. The goings are slow at first, but once you give it some time it picks up a bit. By the end of the season the regulars find themselves once again in danger and peril with no hope in sight.
