This 1800 W kicker amp 1800 W RMS
These amps vary in RMS wattage the first one I bought had 1845 RMS. The 2nd one I bought had 1925 RMS. Kicker gives a certificate with each amp quoting the RMS rating for that amp. Each amp is tested individually and certified by kicker with nothing less than 1800 RMS wattage. The average is always above the 1800 RMS. Very good amp with a 3600 watt peak power.

The remote gain control can turn the gain all the way down and back up. It cannot turn the volume on your amplified speakers down. You would have to have a head unit with a non-fader to do so or if you have a speaker tap for your amp they make some with the same type of dial so you can turn the input signal all the way down essentially shutting down the amp feed

Both phones should ring. If they are not you may need to set the phone that doesn't ring on the main charging dock or check out the settings on the handset. If the phone still doesn't ring the handset may be defective. You may need to return the phones for an exchange

how far from the base phone can you use the hand set phone
I have used the handset as far as 75 ft so far with no issues
