This product fits and works perfectly with my new computer system. And there is no problem working with any/all connected devices at the same time, i.e. accessing my external hard drive while the printer is printing out a page while I'm viewing photos on an SD memory card taken from my camera while charging a Bluetooth device. It makes sense that a powered hub provides the best performance. Working with USB 3.0 is bliss compared to working with my older system and devices!

Not Appropriate in Hilly Areas

Although the Best Buy rep couldn't give this product higher raves, even convincing me that it will work far superior to my Mohu Ultimate Leaf antenna where I live and merely placing it near my Samsung SmartTV, only 5 stations were confirmed during the channel scan compared to the 11 stations (yes, I know, this a low number too!) picked up by the Leaf. But I wasn't about to spend hours, like I did with the Leaf, to find the "sweet spot" in my home - again! A full refund was given when I returned it in its original condition and box within the 15-day period.

The Importance of a Clean Current

Before I purchased this product I consulted with a few friends of mine in the electronics field. All agreed that: 1) the electrical current provided by utility companies is guaranteed noisy & irregular and 2) electronic devices AND appliances will operate better & potentially longer when given a clean current or a pure wave. Although I cannot perform my own independent tests confirming their statements or all what the manufacturer claims, I still feel better about using this product for my computer & peripheral devices because what they say makes total sense to me. BTW, the next time I'm near my Best Buy store, I intend to purchase another Panamax for all my entertainment devices since a Magnolia rep did a power strip comparison for me.....and I definitely HEARD the improvement in audio response when using this particular item.

AudioQuest has been around for a long time and I didn't know the company existed until I began purchasing high-end products. I have always believed that to provide the best signal to speakers, a system must have the highest quality cables, connectors and power cords. I believe Best Buy made a wise decision to carry the AudioQuest product line in its Magnolia Rooms and feel the Irish Red subwoofer cable will do my speaker the greatest justice.

All my research in subwoofers was strictly focused on the Bowers & Wilkins line of subwoofers only because I wanted to compliment their Panorama soundbar which I had purchased a year or so earlier. Although the Magnolia rep agreed with my impressions, he brought up the positive attributes of the MartinLogan Dynamo 500, adding that this item was on sale and felt that it was an overall better value and would provide me a more natural response in the lower frequency range. After a listening test between both manufacturer's line of subwoofers using the major motion picture soundtrack to Interstellar, my ears did not perceive a significant difference. The bottom line: I liked the sound, built-in amp, the volume control, the weight, the 3-year warranty and, of course, the sales price.
UPDATE: My wife & I thoroughly enjoy this product and my ears can actually hear a difference in the soundbar; more clarity and spaciousness than ever before. Tough to get off the sofa, truth be told.
