Perfect for landscapes and interiors

Bought this lens before Canon came out with the STM version. However, I will probably keep this one since the STM version is even slower (f/4.5 - 5.6). So far it takes great images throughout the focal range. This lens is much lighter than my 18-135mm STM kit lens that came with my 70D. One issue I noticed is that it does not work well with the 70D's 19 point auto focusing. The lens took longer to focus so I switched it to center focusing and it works fine. No image stabilizer so I probably won't be shooting video with this lens. Otherwise, great wide angle lens to have for landscapes and interiors.

I bought this lens at the same time I bought my Canon 70D with 18-135mm stm kit lens. This lens is a lot lighter than my kit lens. It's perfect for sports. I think the only thing that bothered me was that it's a plastic mount instead of a metal mount. But other than that, this is a perfect second lens.

A great light weight, compact camera bag that doesn't look like a camera bag. It holds my Canon 70D with attached 18-135mm lens and my 55-250mm lens. It still has space for additional lens or flash. The plastic clip and velcro keep the flap down, but still provides fast access to my camera. The convenient, roomy front pocket holds my additional camera battery, extra memory cards, my smartphone, etc. Overall, a great light weight, but sturdy bag if you have minimal equipment.
