Good little speaker, questionable for speakerphone

Fairly easy start up and decent sound for a small speaker bought on sale as a first one for me. Bought other speakers for family members, this is my first.
Little disappointed only in the speakerphone capability. Maybe I expected too much. Mic doesn't seem to pick up well enough and also does not seem to be duplex, to pickup when someone local to the speaker is trying to talk at the same time the person on the other end is.
I would recommend at the sale price, but not at retail.
