David Koepp's adaptation of Stephen King's Secret Window debuts on DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.40:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, with subtitles available in both of those languages as well. Supplemental materials include an exceedingly self-effacing commentary from Koepp that in many ways is more entertaining than the film itself. Deleted scenes with optional commentary by the director, three different behind-the-scenes featurettes, and animated storyboards round out this solid release from Columbia TriStar.
