I read some bad reviews for this third film in the Hobbit trilogy, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was the best of the three. Unfortunately because of a busy schedule I wasn't able to see this one in the theaters, so the blu-ray was my first viewing. I don't know what kind of a difference that would make in my opinion of the movie, but I thought Peter Jackson did another great job and I love this trilogy and the Lord of the Rings also.

6 movies for $5, what a deal

I am a big Humphrey Bogart fan and a big John Huston fan so when I saw this set of films had "Beat The Devil" I had to have it. It isn't one of my favorite Bogart films, but hey, it also has Peter Lorre and Gina Lollobrigida. The film transfers aren't the best and some of the films are better than others but if you like old black-and-white film-noir these are well worth the price.

I have been waiting a long time for this movie to come out on dvd and when I saw it on BestBuy.com I ordered it right away. It is such a bad transfer it almost ruins the film, but it is better than nothing. I have read of the controversies of this movie but I still think it is funny and that Peter Ustinov is brilliant.

If you like Astaire/Rogers films then this is a great collection at a great price. The back of the case says there are two discs but there are four picture discs inside. Each film has lots of extras like cartoons, news reels and featurettes.

Better than I thought it would be

I am mostly an "old school" fan of Disney animated features(everything from the 1930's to the 1960's). I haven't liked most of the features of the last 20 years. Most are watchable but nothing special. I expected the same from Frozen. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It seemed a little slow to get going but it did get better as it progressed. The songs were good and I enjoyed the humor of the snowman, Olaf. My only complaint is the same one I have had with most of the recent animated features. It seems to me the eyes of the women are too big. Out of proportion to their heads. It is hard to get used too.
