What is the difference between this vizio 3.1 and the original? I have the original and I love it except it's a pain changing inputs.if it is more user-friendly I will order this one in addition to my two other soundbars!

I have this soundbar and a Vizio Smartcast tv. How do you get the hdmi arc to work? I can't get sound to come out of the sound bar. Turn off speakers, turn on CEC, but no soundbar listed under CEC. Soundbar isn't recognized.

I seen somewhere here that SUB must be in the line of sight with sound bar - I have a glass TV stand/table, if I have sound bar on the upper shelf and SUB on the lower and a glass in between, would it work. If not, can SUB be connected by wire and how?
