Google's Best - Don't believe Most of the Neg Hype

After owning the Nexus 6p, Pixel and now the Pixel 2 XL, I can easily say this is a big step forward! The Camera, Water resistances, Front Facing Speakers, and Android Oreo are enough to sway over most Android Fans or Tech enthusiast, but after just 5-10 minutes with my Pixel 2 XL, I had 2 co-worker switch over from their IPhones 6 and 7 (true story).
Now some of the internet overly hyped negative issues do exists, but it's not as widely spread as you would think plus the last 2 updates have fixed most issues. My first Pixel 2 XL had a pretty bad "Blue Shift" issue, but after I exchanged it, I now have one with a perfect screen! And the best part about having a Pixel is dealing with Google's Fantastic Support Team. Any issue and they will gladly exchange it without questions asked for 2 Full Years!
This phone is worth the wait and the price!

Beautiful Phone with a few (major) Flaws

I've had this phone and the 360 Cam for just over a week and I can tell you that some parts are better then I thought, while other are worse. The quality of the hardware is fantastic, the Phone feels great in Hand and the screen is as awesome has you can expect (eye catching Phone.) Also, thanks to bare bones Android, this phone is zippy and great battery life. The Flaws I mentioned earlier show themselves in the Camera, speaker, Lack of 3.5mm jack and lack of water resistance. You would expect some of these to be better for a $700 phone. But if those 4 features aren't the most important things for you, you'll probably love this phone.

The software on the phone is stock Android. Just like you would find on a Google pixel, which is great. The only software that essential themselves included was their camera app which unfortunately is still terrible despite the updates. But if you're willing to install Google's zero shutter lag camera app that you can find online at xda.com, you'll be able to take some pretty nice pictures with this camera. The problem itself is not the camera module they chose but post-processing software which unfortunately produces terrible HDR images. Hopefully the answers your question

If i chose the "No Plan" option, does that mean my phone is unlocked and can be used with other carriers?
the Verizon version is "Carrier Unlocked" and will work with any US carrier. The google version is both "Carrier Unlocked" and has a "Unlocked Bootloader".

Why is it $100 more to buy the Pixel 2 XL from BB than it is from Verizon or direct from Google. And Verizon is offering a free Google home device with phone purchase

Can I buy an unlocked Google XL from Bestbuy so I can use it on Sprint?
Yes, the Verizon version is Carrier unlocked and works with all carriers.
