I had low expectations going into this movie. However many of my friends recommended it.
Audio and video mastering were okay.
I enjoyed the flick. Nothing brilliant, but a good rainy Saturday movie with some popcorn and your significant other.

I use this mainly as an overpriced monitor for day trading. Secondly as a smart TV.
As a monitor it works quite well, but since my video card on my Alienware laptop can only push out 1080p, I do not really get the 4k I was hoping. (Maybe this will be a good excuse to buy a new PC...)
As a TV streaming content, the picture quality is phenominal. I looked at the equivalent Samsung and Sharp in the Best Buy store before purchasing this. Samsungs are the popular ones, but I have had poor luck with the quality of their webapps. They are also very Samsung-centric, where they want to use their protocols instead of the standards. Sony picture quality might be a wee bit better, but I doubt you could tell the difference.
The Sharp turned on instantly in the store. The Samsung takes what it seems a full minute. The Sony is somewhere inbetween like 15 seconds to 30 seconds. The instant on time is nice for me since I do use this as a monitor. For folks just using this in a living room or bedroom, I doubt you really care that some TVs take a minute to display a picture. Since the Sony was a bit slow, this was the one star I removed from the rating.
The Sony web apps work really well and are quick. I was not expecting that since I was used to the Samsung webapps. The Sony apps work so well, I ended up subscribing to Netflix since it is so easy to use and browse. The Netflix webapp on the Sony is quicker and better laid out than the current one (as of 8/8/2015) that is in a normal web browser on a computer.
Overall excellent picture, works well with my Sonos Playbar, excellent webapps, but a wee bit too slow to initially start (which most people won't care about).

I had a handful of "high end" WAPs but they all seemed to be mediocre. For the past two years I have just ended up using the wireless switch that comes with FIOS. It did the job... until you have more than 7 or so devices on it. Then I would get weird problems and slowdowns and devices not being able to connect. Even with just one wireless device, I had difficulty in detecting a signal on the far side of my home.
I put the FIOS router in true bridge mode, and am using this router as my WAP. Not only can I keep up with 30 devices (like the claim), but I also get really decent signal in the far end of my home (like the claim).
The web page for configuration is a bit sparse, but all the normal configuration settings are there. My Synology NAS also now works via upnp instead of my manually configuring ports. (This has been a problem in the past. But never really bothered me.) If you wants lots of configurables, this might not be the router for you. However, I think 99% of the users out there do not even need to touch those anyway since this router just works.
This WAP also comes with a smartphone app. I tested the Android app. I use it occasionally, but doesn't really provide much benefit.
Good solid device which does what it says.

NETGEAR's unmanaged JGS524 switch makes it affordable to take Gigabit to the desktop. This unmanaged 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet switch provides high-speed connectivity for small office networks at an economical price a savvy business owner can't ignore. All 24 switched 10/100/1000 ports deliver up to 2000Mbps throughput, up to 48Gbps of backplane bandwidth, and Auto Uplink technology to adjust for straight-through or crossover cables. This high-performance switch can combine 10, 100 and 1000Mbps devices within a network, and is conveniently compact for either the desktop or rack mounting. Ideal for work groups, departments or any small network looking for the ultra fast desktop connections.

I have used my fair share of switches over the year. From enterprise class to basic dumb hub/consumer switches. This is a high end unmanaged switch and is perfect for my needs. I have approximately 30 devices on my network, about half of them are wired with a mix of gigabit and normal fast Ethernet. I see no performance problems with using this switch.
My network has a bunch of streaming video services as well as PlayStation 4 console, plus most importantly I have a special datafeed for day trading futures. This switch can handle all of this without bogging down.
Quite pleased.

how easy is it to go to netflix, amazon, hulu, etc? whats involved?

Does this tv have like a hub found in samsung models that makes it easy to use smart features? Is the interface harder to navigate than samsung? I am comparing it to the 40" samsung 4k and trying to make a decision.
I have used a slightly older Samsung (about 1 to 2 years old at this point.) The Samsung webapps are way too slow, and seem awkward to use. But it is the slowness that really bothers me. I am not sure if this is improved in later years. The Best Buy salesman was telling me that some TVs have duel to quad core processors, but I am not sure how accurate that information was. If you look at the Samsung in person, see if you can "click around" the Samsung to see if it is slow to load.

The Sony I have to say is phenomenal with their webapps. I didn't buy this TV for that feature, and just think of it as a gimmick. Now that I own the Sony, I use these all the time. I ended up actually getting a subscription to Netflix just because it is so easy and fun to use on the Sony. (and the picture quality is excellent, but the Samsung is probably equivalent in quality.)

The Sony does have a hub type functionality as well.
