I have been in photography for over 30 yrs. This is by far the best lens to use for close ups. That is the main reason I bought It. Works great on my Nikon D80 and will work even better on my Nikon D600 with the FX format
What's great about it: The extreme close up
What's not so great: can't say anything negative about lens
