My previous HP laptop of 6 years suddenly up and died on my one morning. As i was in need of one right away I decided to see what my local Best Buy had. My household has had HP laptops for years now and I was looking for another one, although I was open to exploring other brands. After researching online, I headed out to Best Buy. I had narrowed my choices to HP and two other brands. After some hands on time with the 3 brands, I settled on this HP laptop. It's lightweight and quick responsiveness is what sealed the deal for me. Even though there is no CD/DVD Blue Ray player, I decided to go with this one. I am glad I did. The testing I did in the store is limited due to not having the software on it I already own. Once I got home I began loading the software and put it through its paces. A month later and I'm still very pleased with this purchase. I did pick up a Blue Ray player to go with it.
