This is a movie that can be watched over and over. Every viewing you find something new. The acting was exquisite, the plot consistently entertaining. The only distracting element was the zip special effect,, where the actor was one place and suddenly they were across the room without seeing them get there, unless that was a glitch in the film but it looked more like an effect, i.e. they use in horror films.

What's great about it: Actors are the best, plot very riveting.
What's not so great: Some of the zipping effect was distracting.

Overall, the episodes were engrossing and exciting. Cinematography excellent, characterization true, very well done. I hope Dr Who will continue in this vein. Most of these episodes rate with the best they have done.

Most of the plots were excellent and sometimes very emotionally volatile. Cinematography was great, special effects were well done. Character interaction was beyond reproach. Very well done overall. I have watched Dr Who for years and this equaled their best.

Overall it was done well. It was often dark and hard to see but the plot was always moving forward. The characters felt real and interacted realistically. There were good special effects. There was over average tragedy but considering the subject matter, to be expected.

I bought Sony purposely to function with my DVD recorder, previous remote broke. This remote did not have atll the function buttons needed to program it own (Sony) DVD recorder. The set up instructions were minimal at best, it took too long to get it to respond to the programming for set up. I was very disappointed to have it work so badly. The Sony DVD recorder has always worked so well, still does but now I cannot program it correctly.

will this remote replace a Dish Network remote & control a Sony 4100 TV
This product was adequate but did not fully fulfill my needs. I wanted a replacement for my Sony remote which fell on the floor and no longer worked. The report worked in every respect except there was no Record Mode so I cannot change the speed of the recording. Inadequate!

STR-K840P Sony Receiver
Will this remote work with the Sony STR-K840P 5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater Receiver? Specifically will it turn the unit on and off and absolutely has to CONTROL THE VOLUME?
It has volume control and power control. There are multiple products listed that it will control. It will not work automatically with Sony products, you still have to put in the correct code.
