SoundLink® Mini Bluetooth® speaker II delivers full sound with dramatically deeper lows than you'd expect from a speaker that fits in the palm of your hand. And because it's wireless and ultra-compact, it's easy to take Bose® sound anywhere. With the built-in speakerphone you can take calls out loud with clear sound. And voice prompts make Bluetooth pairing easy. The SoundLink® Mini II can play unplugged for hours and be charged from most USB power sources.

Sounds Great - Helpful "voice" during pairing

While you expect a BOSE to sound great (and it does), the helpful voice directions on pairing were really helpful for someone who isn't so "tech savvy".

does this work for a full system backup

Not sure it comes with full image backup software, but any software should be able to see this drive since it is USB.

Will this work for Mac and Windows?

Will this jump drive work for mac and windows? I am a Grad Student and I have to save documents from lab work from a windows computer and be able to pull it up on my personal mac. I am looking for a portable metal hard drive that will allow me to use both Mac and windows computers.
ye - you will need to have the mac use the PC file system, and you may need to have a proper NTFS driver on the MAC, but it should be fine.

I have a galaxy view tablet and I do a lot of music for people can I use that external hard drive to transfer music?

if you have a means to get the files OFF the tablet (like a USB TO GO adapter, you should be fine.

someone said to me that this can only system back up a hard drive with less than 1tb storage , I have a tb hard drive but it has 500gb free so can I fully back the system up if I don't use a certain amount of storage if so how much should I not use

That all depends. But as long as you leave 10-15% "free" space on your 1TB drive, and you don't care about having multiple backups, you should be fine. Also, you may or may not need to do a FULL backup if you can reinstall the OS and programs. BUT as long as the amount you want to save is less than the space available, you should be fine.

I have a Vizio 2.1 soundbar that I chose over the 5.1 solely for the price. Now I'm wishing I would've got the 5.1 set though. If I were to get a speaker like this, would I be able to pair it with my soundbar to maximize my sound?

NO - it's not for adding in the rear spakers (or center channel (the things that add the extra "3" to the existing 2.1

will 2 of these function as stereo speakers in a car driven off the power of the car radio (which has 3.5mm mini plugs). As you know, a car's electrical system is 12 volts. Thank you, dave

Yes and no. The 3.5mm plug is AUDIO only and has no connection at all to the 12V of the car. You could use a power adapter (think cigarette lighter) to power the unit, since it changes the voltage to the USB standard 5V. As for "stereo", There really isn't a way (unless you split the audio from the 3.5mm jack) to send L/R channels to the individual units.

So while possible, probably not the best use for a unit like this.

Does it supports 240V ?? I have this "Bose® - SoundLink® Mini Bluetooth Speaker II - Carbon" speaker and wants to use in India (240 v). If I have an Adapter that's enough (OR) do I need an voltage converter too (which converts 240V to 110V) . ??

Look at your specific adapter to see if it supports 240. But even if it doesn't, all this needs is a normal mini-USB charging cable, so any charger that drives the 5volts of USB will work just fine
