What a Great Movie

This movie is a classic from the 80's. It was done before much of the CG used today was available. The design work of Syd Meade and Richard Wynn Taylor under the direction of Steven Lisberger provides a very entertaining piece of work.

Another fine Canon G-Series camera

Having owned G-Series cameras since 2008, it is not surprising how much I love the G16. I began with the G9 all over Italy. The results were fantastic. I was the only one on the tour able to photograph the Pieta in the Vatican without a flash bounce. I sold that unit for more than I paid for it. It wasn't long til I realized I had made a mistake. I purchased the G10 and liked it even better. Took it to Belgium, France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Turkey. Last year I took it to the Caribbean. This year, I bought the G16 and took it to the Grand Cayman. It performs even better than the G10 which I love dearly. It has WIFI and many more fine attributes. I also have a Canon 60D but I carry this unit 90% of the time as it is so much lighter and does such a great job. It looks so much like my G10, my wife has no idea I have a new camera. Grab it before it disappears. You won't be disappointed.

Being an old guy who has seen all the Si-Fi standards such as the original Day The Earth Stood Still, Forbidden Planet and the Star Trek series through the years, this movie was OK but not outstanding. Then I watched it a second time and liked it lots better. I thought the best scene was where Bullock was talking to herself just before re-entry. That was a great job on her part. Then on re-entry when she looks out the port to see debris burning up in the atmosphere was really cool. I have it in all formats, 3D, Blu ray, DVD and on Flixter. It's worth it.

It a given that Will Smith has really matured through the years. I really enjoyed this movie as I do most SciFi presentations. The father-son interaction is usually very entertaining in most movies. This one is no different. If you haven't seen this movie, do so. It's very entertaining.

Even though I have always thought all the movies by Peter Jackson are too long, it is still a fine work. Let's face it, how do you get 6-8 hours of movie out of a book that I can read in 5 hours??
Still, I couldn't pass it up.

Having read the book nearly 30 years ago and the next 5 too, I really like the story line. The producers of the movie did a great job given their production constraints. It a really good epic. Get the books, read them and hope they continue producing more movies from the series.

Having seen this movie in he Theater in '77, it has always held a special place in my movie goin' heart. It's a fun story about post-apocalyptic Earth with two wizard brothers and the fight between good and evil. At the time we first saw the movie, my son was 8 years old. We have both enjoyed watching it many times through the years. I own an animation cell from the movie. Buy it...it's great entertainment for very little money.

This unit was to replace my 5 year old unit which began to act strangely. I usually replace them about every 5 years. This unit performs beautifully as I have grown to expect. I have used Sonicare products for the past 15 years.

Hello. I bought this cable on sale a couple of months ago and cant seem to verify if they support hdmi 2.0 or not.. Also is there a difference in quality when it comes to high vs lower price 4k uhd hdmi cables?
I compared the performance of this cable with a $5 4K unit from Fry's and could tell NO DIFFERENCE. I am using the big Sony 850 4K TV and could tell no difference between the upscaled blu ray and the 4K disc. The Sony was indicating that I was receiving 4K resolution too.

Simply plug the printer into a usb port to use. No software necessary. Use in conjunction with a data base to print multiple labels.

Does this camera come with an optical viewfinder?
Yes it does which, as an older user, I use about half the time. It also has a diopter focusing adjustment to fine tune it to your eye. When you have the zoom fully extended, you can see the barrel in the viewfinder. No big deal.
