On blu ray it even looks better, some of his fans didn't enjoy this one but it is filled with social satire and good old fashioned gore. It is much better than 'day of the dead" in which it's very small budget kept most of the action inside of a bunker, but not as great as the truly classic by any horror fans standards: 'dawn of the dead" or the first and great 'night of the living dead" , still this movie has a fine pacing and good performances from the top notch cast. It's worth getting on blu ray as part of any superior horror dvd collection.

I know there is a sentimental following for the original but this version far surpasses that. This one is not perfect but it has a better story, better actors and superior special effects. Thus it is more believable. I've watched this several times for the special effects alone. The attention to detail is impressive. It's what science fiction is all about.

The end of the third season concludes a long narrative which seems to have begun long ago and ends without the usual triumph of good over bad, No one is spared; nor are any of the participants faultless. There's a certain cynicism which pervades "The Wire" and there are no blameless heroes. In many ways, it is not unlike "Spiral", the French series about cops, politicians, and crooks in Paris. Be prepared for coarse language and emotional and physical violence.

Looper is a good movie if you can over look its faults. I think that it has alot of good action, and an interesting plot line. Sometimes it focuses to much on the young looper, taking care of Emily Blunt. I think other then that the movie had alot of good action scenes. Bruce Willis character was very interesting, and did a great job of portraying an unstoppable terminator type hitman.
