Players, start your engines. It's time to once again get on the racing circuit and compete against characters from the Mushroom Kingdom that you know and love. For the first time on the Nintendo Wii U console, you get to experience the racing action that has been a fan favorite for years, with a few added features to keep things interesting. So buckle up, push the pedal to the floor and get ready to turn this classic racing experience upside down. With new racing circuits, new gameplay features and a stunning new look, Mario Kart 8 certainly lives up to the legacy. The new anti-gravity feature will have you suddenly finding yourself racing on walls in a haunted mansion or upside-down over Princess Peach's castle — not to worry, the wheels on your kart will automatically rotate and shift into antigravity gear for an awesome racing element that allows mind-blowing new circuit designs. The previous games in the Mario Kart franchise introduced some amazing features, so they're back for more in Mario Kart 8. You can still see who's got what it takes in 12-player online competitive play. Hang gliders and motorbikes are back, as well as underwater racing and mid-air tricks, while Waluigi and Toadette rejoin the cast of characters. As the icing on the cake, the crisp, high-definition graphics and 60-frames-per-second frame rate of your Nintendo Wii U ensure a visually stunning and vibrant gameplay experience that you won't soon forget.

As a lifelong Mario Kart player, Mario Kart 8 is a fresh and exciting take on the series. The tracks available in the game are wonderfully created with the care of detail only Nintendo can give to its games. Some tracks can make your jaw drop for how great it looks for Nintendo's first Mario Kart game in glorious HD. The controls feel fantastic to drive the characters around as well as the weapon balancing is the best I've witnessed in a Mario Kart game. The added "gravity tires" give the series a new perspective from different angles that makes the racing much more exciting to play. The game offers enough varieties of cars/bikes/ATVs for everyone to choose along with the endless selection of tires and gliders to give the user the vehicle of their dreams. My experience with 12 player online play has been relatively lag free!
My only complaint of the game is that battle mode available in these version is not as good as previous entries. Instead of dedicated arenas, players (a maximum of 12) will use the available tracks to use as the "arenas" for the players to battle. It is not as exciting as the tracks tend to be bigger than the regular arenas which can cause a lot of players to wander around the track looking for others to battle.
I've had the game since launch and it is definitely worth the full price of the game as it is a beautiful masterpiece full of a wonderful variety of tracks with a ton of vehicles to use and customize. The wealth of multi player options for online and offline play is fantastic. One or two player online play is fast and frantic, with hardly any lag experienced during my play time. Mario Kart TV brings in a new experience to the series and can be a joy to watch the character's faces and emotions when the highlights are playing. While the battle mode was a series staple, it's lack of dedicated arenas shouldn't put a damper on the amount of content available, which in itself is a staggering sum and the available local play for up to four players between friends and family will make the game that much more exciting and worthwhile!
I will be playing this game for years and years to come!

Far Cry 3 is an open world first-person shooter set on an island unlike any other. A place where heavily armed warlords traffic in slaves. Where outsiders are hunted for ransom. And as you embark on a desperate quest to rescue your friends, you realize that the only way to escape this darkness — is to embrace it.

Far Cry 3 is a fantastic open world game that lives up to its name. The voice acting is top notch, the world is huge and alive, doing all the different missions are a joy to do, as well as fantastic controls that feel natural to perform when you are fighting enemies. The graphics in this game are absolutely gorgeous! The environment interacts with the players actions and can generally surprise you in what happens next. The story is fantastic with a good amount of memorable missions and characters. I got this game when it was on sale for $30 and I wouldn't mind paying full price for it since I've spent countless hours on the game already. Get this game!

What's great about it: The controls, once your used to them, can make the game run very smooth with your takedowns.
What's not so great: Once you level up your character with skill points, the game becomes very easy even at the highest diffuculty level.
I would recommend this to a friend!
