Ambient aware of the great feature

Noise cancellation not quite as good as Bose but adequate and the fact that I'm not allergic to the fabric is a big plus! and the ambient aware lets you here what's going on around you. A Big place if you're in a waiting room waiting to hear your name called while still listening to your music. I don't if there's a way to check the battery%? if there is would someone please tell me how.
