To be honest I was looking for a stopgap case because I couldn't find a keyboard case for my new 5th gen iPad. All the accessory companies seem to have been flat on their butts getting keyboard cases out to support the 5th gen release. I've used a Zagg Portfolio for years on my 4th gen. Switching to Logitech if they get theirs out soon. But this Speck cover has done a really good job protecting my iPad so far! It's slim/not bulky and is "grippy" so it won't slip out of you hands!

Was replacing my older 4th gen and I didn't need lots of memory (but still got twice what I had by buying the 5th gen). Plus I didn't need have to have the Pro, so for the money this was perfect. I think there's a big difference having the Retina display. Goes well with my iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro! If you don't want to spend big money this iPad is the one to get!

Can anyone tell me why someone would possibly prefer receiving the white starter kit versus the white/color? The other kit has 2 white bulbs and the hub, bridge and dimmer versus this kit with the hub, bridge and 3 color-capable bulbs.
Good question and I asked myself the same thing when buying, I wanted color anyway so it was a no brainer.- plus no need for a dimmer when I can use my phone, iPad, or Alexa (I also went with the Amazon Echo and have everything paired/linked, including my Nest thermostat). Having the color options is way better than plain white!
