We purchased this for our son for college.
The PC works great, slightly expandable with RAM which will help when his computer courses kick in.
Down side is shortly after we received it, it would appear that HP "value add" software they install caused it to lock up and require a hard reset.
We had to boot to safe mode, found the event log errors that referenced an issue with the HP Software, we removed the software, restarted, and has been working great ever since.

Wifi worked great. it's hardwired now, to take advantage of the fiber drop we have at he house from our ISP.

does the xps 16gb desk top have an internal microphone?
yes it does have an internal microphone...but it's not great.
i've had to use it when my google phone was ringing and my cell phone was too far away to get to it in time. They'll hear you...and everything around you. So if you're in a room with noise (especially box fan in the window) it will be a little rough for the caller.
With that said, you may be able to tweak the sensitivity of the Mic settings, but overall, it's just a 'good enough' mic.

How do you connect to the WiFI?
This connects like a normal computer to Wifi.
With Windows 10 you can Swipe from the Far right of the screen, over to the left about 3-5 inches on the monitor.
you'll get a panel of different objects to select from, one of them is NETWORK
Touch the network icon, and you will be presented with a list of WiFi SSID's you can connect to.
Pick on, type in the password/passphrase and you're connected.

How would this machine handle GoPro video editing with GoPro Studio? Just HD video no 4K.
this would handle it great. it also has the card reader built into the machine so if you don't want use the slower speeds of USB, you could plug in the HDSD or other SD card and work on your images and videos.

Per the manual, it is expandable to 16GB of Ram

Does this computer include a Motherboard driver disc, a Power cable, and the Owner's manual because it only says that it includes a Dell XPS 8900 and a Mouse and keyboard?
Motherboard Driver disk = No. Typically you'll see those in the machines that are built from scratch and sold. These are mass produced for typical home users. The restore is on a seperated partition of your HD. The Software Drivers for hardware on in the INF folders local to the OS, or you can download them from the vendor site

What version of windows 10 ? Does it come with Office 2016 Pro ?
Windows 10 Home. So if you're looking to do some of the same things we can do on an Enterprise version of Windows 10, you won't be able to do that.
Office does come installed, but it's a trial and requires activation. if you create docs and do not activate it, your docs are gone. My son lost a lot of homework because of this.
