This title is the exact same game that is available on previous generation systems, but this one comes with updated graphics, some tweaks to the gameplay systems (mostly good), and all of the available DLC on disc. What's not to love about that?
Basically, if you like a third person fantasy dungeon crawler with a sometimes punishing realism and steep challenge get this game.

I purchased this game mainly for the free cross compatibility with the Playstation Vita. Overall after having tried it on both the Playstation 4 and Vita I can say that it is good - if it's your cup of tea. First off, I would highly recommend buying this item if you are thinking of buying it for any particular system as this item includes the Playstation 3 (download), Playstation Vita (download), and Playstation 4 (disc). It also includes all of the DLC on all three platforms if I am not mistaken. Purchasing this item will certainly save you some money if you already plan to buy it for any other one system and might want to play it later on any of the others.
The basic gameplay of this item is similar to Diablo with a few differences that proved to be a little annoying. First, the graphics are not at the same level as Diablo. To myself that does not always mean too much as the game still looks good, but just be aware of it. Second, the control scheme is such that you have to use an analog stick to move your character and aim which, if you have ever played another game with that same feature (Dead Nation for example), can be... imprecise. Third, and most annoying, the enemies can NEVER be killed enough to where they no longer respawn. Some people might like that this feature is continuous, but personally I found it annoying as I kept having to go from one objective to another fighting enemies that I had just killed. With that in mind I did not get far enough for it to truly be a problem, but after each mission your character has to call for an extraction that has a timer on it. This means that not only do not have to wait for your ride to leave the level to get there, but also that your ride will only be there for so long before it leaves without you. Add to that the infinite enemies and that could easily be tedious in the later stages of the game if they chose to artificially enhance the difficulty. Like I said, I did not experience that too much but I could definitely see a potential problem on the horizon with that little mechanic.
There is also a difficulty curve for single player as this title does not scale for multiplayer. The amount of enemies and how much health they have is only dependent of the difficult that it is set on. Friends are recommended for this title, but not necessary.
Overall though this title can give you a good experience... if it's shortcomings are not a deal breaker for you. And I can certainly understand if they would not be acceptable.
