I really like this TV, especially that it has all of the apps that were on my Roku (which I can use somewhere else now). However, the android part of the TV can get sluggish at times, and it has some trouble playing MP4 files off my USB. The upconversion to 4K seems to be pretty good, but since it's the first 4K TV I've had I don't really have anything to compare it with. The ARC was hit or miss, but it could have been my receiver as well, so I used an optical cable connection to get surround sound from the TV to my receiver. Overall I'm pretty happy, but I'm on the fence on the android TV. Some parts are good and some are just baffling, like the crazy long menu structure of the apps. Overall I'm happy with it though.

Great sound, easy setup

This unit has a great sound and easy setup. The remote should be backlit for a $1K system. Also, the ARC functionality was hit or miss. I eventually had to buy an optical cable to go from my TV to the receiver, but it was cheap and an easy fix. Overall, the sound is what counts and it's really good. Much better than my 10 year old Yamaha RX-V2700.
