I looked up the reviews in Consumers Report and based my purchase on their findings. This refrigerator is used in a small office daily and so far so good. It was more narrow than we actually wanted but holds everyones lunch just fine. No problems so far.

We are 1st time buyers of LG. I was worried but Consumers Reports showed LG's history to have lowest in breakdowns, the price was right and Both washer and dryer set had a good rating. So far so good.
Time needed to dry cloths takes a little longer than we would like but it does the job. We have "not" tried out the steam option yet. I didn't see a lot of positive reviews for it so I haven't been in a hurry to try it. Hopefully these units will last the 13 years our old ones did.
We did purchase the extended contracts which is worth the money when it currently costs 100.00 plus just to someone come out to troubleshoot. The 100.00 protection/Ea additional unit that gives you 5 years of coverage on top of the one year from MFG'r is more than worth it. 6yrs. coverage/100.00.
(if) you plan to stack these don't buy the drawers You'll need a ladder to get to the dryer and if you don't have the ceiling height they may not fit.

How long is a normal wash and normal dry take for a regular load?
Wash: 25 mins, Dry - Consumers says 74 mins but we never go between 20 for small loads to 55 for large.
