So much better than the lifeproof. I returned my lifeproof and ordered the commuter case. I bought the defender to hold me over until my commuter came in. I ended up keeping the defender - it's such a tough case & makes me feel confident that my phone is protected. Love the design, colors, and covers over the ports. And, it covers the screen protector nicely. Overall, a great case for the $.

Had the lifeproof, switched to the defender until my commuter came in. Both otterboxes were much better than the lifeproof. The commuter isn't as bulky as the defender but, so far, has been a tough case. And the covers over the ports are a great touch.

This case IS waterproof & that's the only reason I gave it 2 stars. With the cover over the screen, it's almost impossible to type & scroll without major errors. The cover rolls over the edge but makes it really hard to use the infinity screen. I've always had lifeproofs for every Galaxy phone and iPad I've owned and have loved them. But I had to return this case and get an otterbox; it was too hard to use the phone. If they made a nude case for this phone, it would be perfect but this design does not work. Don't waste your $90!

Stops Working if You Sweat!

I purchased the original LG Tones for my husband a couple years ago when they first came out and he loved them. He used them until the wires detached from the earbuds and by then he'd had them for a while. He does service-work and is under houses, in attics, on ladders, etc. all day so his earbuds get a good workout. The original ones were great, the new ones . . . not so much. As soon as he started sweating while working, they shorted out and wouldn't work. They start working again after a bit but that doesn't cut it if you're in the middle of a convo. I know they're not waterproof but he never had any trouble with the other model; these just aren't made as well.
