Decent New LifeProof Mounting Scheme

At first I was disappointed with LifeProof dragging their feet on releasing new bike mounts for the iPhone 6 but now the I see the flexibility of this new scheme, I like it. The adapter doesn't add too much depth to the case so overall it works.

Like the fact it's waterproof and you only have to recharge once a week. Every 1-1/2 to 2 years I find myself replacing mine however.

I like to wear nice gold bracelets. . .if I make a gold brocade covering (leaving open the stainless steel clasp) would I render the Flex ineffective
