Good, But Pricey

This is Sony's latest incarnation of their Dualshock line. Unlike the original introduced well into the lifecycle of the first PlayStation, this controller is wireless and includes a small touchpad. However, it costs almost 2 1/2 times as much. These days most multiplayer gaming involves one person per console and a network connection. However, if I want to play Little Big Planet wit my three kids, I need to pay $180+tax for the controllers. That's quite an investment. It's a comfortable, well-built, and well-designed controller...but it comes at a significant price.

This is the best looking version of this series and for those of you with Blu-ray players, it's the version to own. For the uninitiated, Firefly is one of the greatest science fiction shows of all time. Brilliant writing - engaging characters - interesting and believable speculative future.

Not Inexpensive, But You Get What You Pay For

I've been using an iPad for my art and music since the release of the iPad 2. My most recent iPad before this purchase was a 4th generation. Stepping up to the iPad Pro 9.7" was a HUGE leap in processing power! Much of my art involves layering and manipulating fractals. One app that I was always interested in utilizing (Julia) would take over a half-hour on my 4th gen iPad to create an image for me to use. The iPad Pro 9.7" takes less than a minute for the same render! Other tools show similar improvements in speed and I am truly pleased.
This is NOT a cheap piece of kit. In fact, it's more than many laptops I've considered. However, because of the software and interface that I have grown to love for my creativity, this was the right purchase for me.
