I enjoyed my 1st 2 echo's (1 in bedroom, another in livingroom) so much, that when I saw they were on sale again, I just HAD to buy 1 more for the diningroom.
In the morning, b4 getting out of bed I get news briefing & weather report.
When in kitchen baking I have music playing from spotify\Pandora. I can bluetooth to another speaker, but the speaker in echo dot is just fine. Can also ask echo dot to add items to my grocery list as I go thru the fridge...it adds items to my phone.
In livingroom I can also play music, ask ?'s of items I see on TV, & control items I have plugged into smart plugs... can also control items plugged into smart plugs from any echo dot.
I use several apps with echo dot & enjoy echo's humor & useful info.

I gave this purchase an average rating cuz I haven't used it. But I was curious later when I saw the 2 yr plan begins day 1 (day of buying the watch) instead of starting after the plan that comes with the Apple watch ends.
I don't normally buy protection plans, but being that a watch can get great abuse with it being out in the environment on a swinging arm, it would be best to be protected.

I never thought I would buy an Apple watch, but with my local Best Buy selling it, I figured what would I lose.. if I don't like it, I can return it.
I ordered on line from Best Buy & was informed it would be 2 weeks before it shipped to me.
Couple of days later, I was next door to Best Buy & decided to phone Best Buy & see if they had any in store. The lady informed me there was 1 RoseGold in stock. I told her I had 1 on order & had to wait 2 wks to get it. She told me she could cancel the on line order & sell me the 1 in the store. I was at the store by the time I hung up. I was so happy to get it right away & appreciated the assistance of the BB employee.

Now, the watch... I LOVE it!! Love that I can do things on my wrist instead of needing to pull out my phone. I don't always have my phone on me & my watch is. Great for tracking my exercise, step, sleep. Use for watching storms\weather, calendar appts, alarms, reminders, even answer & make phone calls, messages. Better than a Dick Tracy wrist watch lol I've been buy different colored bands, clear & colored bumpers, etc for it-lots of 3rd party stuff for it. Battery last me a full 24 hrs & some days a bit more.
I've not had any problems viewing the display, haven't gone swimming in it but wore in shower, & used the eject water feature just fine.
I'm glad I did buy this watch. I'd read reviews last yr that the 1st watch wasn't impressive, & this years reviews said this series2 watch was what the 1st 1 should have been.

I would recommend getting a screen cover for it right away as day 2, even after being careful, I scratched the top corner. Next day back to BB to buy a screen protector & bumper guard to protect the edges.

I've always had a zagg screen protector put on my apple devices right away. Unfortunately this time I didn't do it right away & got a small scratch on top of my watch face. Next day I had this screen protector installed & felt better knowing my watch face is protected. Any bumps or dings against the shield & I can rub them out.
The drawback is it doesn't go edge to edge on the face, & when I swipe to change clock faces, my finger rubs against the edge of the shield. Also I have a bumper case on my watch & since the shield doesn't go edge to edge, the bumper case lifts up the edge of the shield... so bought a different bumper case.

If you have 2 or 3 of the dots do they use alot of bandwidth? Are they going to make my multiplayer game on a tablet slower?
If you are streaming music, it will (as expected) use more bandwidth. But for it to search for answers, do daily news briefing, telling jokes...no it doesn't use alot of bandwidth. When you are not using it, it doesn't use bandwidth. Therefore it would not slow down your tablet.

Which device is best ? Echo dot .amazon alexis OR Google play.
B4 I bought my 1st echo dot (I now have 3), I reviewed which was better between Dot - Alexa & Google Play.
The main diff between dot & Alexa was the speaker & how to control the volume (ring on the Alexa & a button on the dot). Oh, & the BIG price tag that comes with Alexa! The speaker on the dot is just fine for me even with playing music. And if I wanted more out of the speaker, I could blue tooth to a speaker I already have. And I'm happy I went this route to buy the dot.
