Director Brad Silberling's live-action adaptation of the classic cartoon Casper comes to DVD for the first-time with this feature-heavy release. The film is presented in a 1.85:1 widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio (A full-screen edition with the same features was released simultaneously). Meanwhile, the English soundtrack is available in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, while the French and Spanish dubbed audio tracks have been rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Spanish and French subtitles are also available. Among the supplemental features that have been included are a feature-length audio-commentary track by Silberling, two games, Casper's Cartoon Classic: Penguin for Your Thoughts, three featurettes, a photo gallery, and a deleted scene.
