Our dryer unexpectedly quit working, so my husband and I set out to by a used washer/dryer set. After much disappointment with the used selection and realizing we could pay a little more and get a much nicer NEW set, we decided on this one. It was on sale for the same price at three different stores that we went to. Best Buy gave us the best customer service, and gave us an even better deal than the sale price!
The dryer is excellent! Our old dryer needed two full cycles to dry our clothes and only had two heat settings. This one has a ton! The only time that we need to put it on more than one cycle is if we are drying an extra large load of bulky clothes such as jeans. I also typically keep in on the medium heat setting, which can take a little longer than if it were on high heat. But I feel like my clothes will last longer with the lower heat setting.
My old dryer would get so hot that my clothes would come out with almost a burnt smell, and you couldn't even tell they had been washed. With this dryer, my clothes still smell like the fabric softener when I get them out!
If you put away the clothes right after they are done drying, then typically the clothes are wrinkle free. But if you are like me and put off folding, then you may find yourself with wrinkled clothes. But that's okay because I can throw them in the dryer with a damp cloth on the high heat setting and most wrinkles come right out. This is great since I hate ironing!
All in all, it is a nice, efficient dryer that is not too over the top with its settings. It is great for my family's needs! The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that it doesn't fold the clothes after it drys them!

Great washer for the money!!

Our dryer suddenly quit working, so my husband and I set out to buy a used washer/dryer set. Because it wasn't a planned purchased we hadn't saved for what we thought a new set would cost. After a torturous day of realizing people were asking way too much for a used set, we realized we could pay just a little more for a nice NEW set. We found this set on sale for the same price at three different locations, and knew it was the one we wanted. But the customer service we received from Best Buy was excellent, so we purchased from them. I love that the washer has a feature that allows you to choose how many rinse cycles, and if you want to use fabric softener. With my old washer you had to "listen" for the the rinse cycle and hope you remembered to add fabric softener. It has cycles for everything you could need to wash, but it is not too over the top. I think it's a perfect combination of simple and fancy.
I read numerous reviews before purchasing and noticed a lot of people complaining about how loud the washing machine is. I will say it is louder than my old washing machine, but I think it was because it was making a noise my ears were not used to hearing. After a few loads of laundry I barely notice it anymore. Besides, it just the sound of the agitator spinning, letting me know that it's doing its job.
When I pull my clothes out, they smell great and they aren't tangled together.
All in all, the price and efficiency of this washer made it a great purchase for our family! I actually love doing laundry now! (I'm just waiting for the machine that folds everything for you!)
