Fully configurable for both left handed and right handed gamers. DPI adjustment on the fly is a nice feature. Ventilation is a gimmick , it does very little. Good mouse for the beginner to moderate gamer.

Prints, faxes, scans, and copies. Small foot print. Ethernet. Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi-Direct capable. Draft quality printing is ridiculously fast. Photo's were average but get better if you take the time to tweak the settings. A bit louder than I expected.

VIZIO M-Series - best deal around

It's hard to beat the excellent picture, great design and Smart TV features of the Vizio M - Series. For $400 to $500 there is no TV that comes close to the quality. Is it as good as the top of line Samsung TV's - no, but those TV's are nearly 3 times the price for the same size. The Vizio M Series is as good as some Samsung and even better than the Sony's in the same class ( the other brands will cost 30% to 50% more in the same class.) The only thing I do not like is the remote. It is a bit archaic and the response has some latency. Overall, I would recommend the TV.

Great TV at first but then some issues

The UN55HU8550FXZA is the second highest tier of Samsung's flagship TV's. Before I get into the the audio and the video, Samsung's Smart TV system is second to none. The system is smooth, easy to use and fast. It is well stocked with applications and the unique remote makes it easy to navigate. The downsides to the Smart functions are the voice and gesture commands are spotty at best. It's more of a novelty anyway. The picture quality is good but really shines with UHD videos, Blu-Ray and streamed content. TV content showed artifacting. Adjusting the settings helps. The sound was decent but two weeks in I started to notice a rumbling sound in the speakers was bass was stronger in the audio. I did not think about it much at first but it got worse and was annoying when playing X-Box and some TV shows. I ended up returning the TV and upgrading to the UN55HU9000FXZA. It is a $1000 more but you get the UHD video pack ( it is a hard drive with movies and documentaries) and the Evolution One Connect. If you bought them separately, they would cost $600 so it really ends up only being a $400 difference for me. However, the 8550 i still a great TV and the audio issue is more than likely a fluke.
Internet content most enjoyed: Netflix

Above average features for price

The map guidance is clear, the information on the screen is relevant and voice is easy to understand ( although it can be too loud if you set it at it's highest setting.) Only true issue I see is the interface to enter an address can be painful and going back after you entered something is tedious.

HDMI upgrade?

I currently am running my HD TV's with HDMI connections made about five years ago. Will those cables be able to support this TV or are there newer cables that must be used on these 3-D 4-K models?
The short answer is maybe. There are 4 types of HDMI cables ( for the most part.) High-speed with or without Ethernet and or without Ethernet . For 4k televisions, you should use high speed only ( it does not matter whether they are ethernet capable.) High speed cables have been around for over 5 years so you may already have them. If you do need to buy new cables, go for the least expensive high speed cables . There is no difference in performance between a $5 high speed cable and $100 Monster cable ( up to about 20 feet.)
