Apple makes good reliable products so why buy an extended warranty if they do?
In my case I spent almost $1000 on an iPhone 7. At this price I was better safe than sorry. iCare is like car insurance, you pay money and you hope you never have to use it but when you do have to use it you are glad that you have it.
I had to use iCare on a previous product and Apple is very good and taking care of you. I barely missed a beat in the whole process and the transaction was very smooth.

Great upgrade from iPhone 5

This is my 3rd iPhone (3g, 5, 7). Apple has made some nice improvements to the phone that made it time for me to upgrade.
The built in speaker quality is much better since they went to stereo speakers. The biggest thing you will notice is the sound is louder. I guess the sound is better but it is hard to judge audio quality on 2 tiny phone speakers. The audio quality through my headphones and car stereo (USB conncection) is very good. I noticed a stronger midrange presence than my iPod Classic 120gb. Much more detail. The same in my Klipsch earbuds. The possible disadvantage is there is no headphone jack output. Some of you will not mind this some of you will. Apple gives you an adapter for this.
The big thing I like is the camera. Big improvement over the iPhone 5. I took some pictures at work and they were amazing. They will work well in my training presentations.
Outside of that it is faster and has a better display than the iPhone 5. I like the bigger display. I was unable to go to the 7 Plus as I carry my phone in my front pocket and am worried about damaging it when I sit down.
Very good phone. I will more than likely have it for several years. I am satisfied with the Apple products I own (please note I am not a fan boy as I own several non-Apple products). They seem to work well and are dependable.

Never could get them to fit in my ears and seal

I could never get the JVC's to fit in my ears and seal. They seem to be built well and the sound quality from what I did hear seemed to be ok but I could not use them as they did not fit properly. Fit and sealing is very important for IEMs or you will not get a good bass response.
They may fit your ears as everyone ears are different. I returned them in favor of the Jam Transits which fit and sealed very well. Try them and if they do not fit, utilize the Best Buy return policy and try another set.

Good IEMs for the money

I bought these after I got an iPhone 7 for when I work out. I am now using the iPhone as my music player instead of a separate iPod. The idea was to not put any wear & tear on the lightning port while working out. I use Klipsch IEMs when doing regular listening so the Jam Transits are compared against my Klipsch. I did not want to spend an incredible amount of money on the IEMs but still wanted somewhat decent sound quality. I think I got this. I got them on sale for $27 and they have good sound quality but not on the same level as the Klipsch (but I did pay more for the Klipsch).
Fit: They fit relatively well. Sometimes they will hurt my right ear and sometimes they don't. They seal relatively well too. Occasionally, they slip a little and I have to push them back into place. I did find that they seal best and stay in place when I place them in my ear with the cables pointing down and then twist the earbuds forward and up so the cables are pointing up and then go behind my ear. Pointing down they did not seal very well. Please note: the key for IEMs is that they need to seal or you will lose a majority of your bass. Also when they seal it blocks out other sounds and you only hear the music unlike the traditional earbuds.
Durability: So far they have held up well. I have had them for a couple of months. I throw them in the side pocket of my gym bag and then my gym bag gets tossed around and so far they are pretty durable.
Battery: I usually get about 2 days worth of working out before I recharge them. I work out 2-3 times a day for about 20ish minutes to an hour for each session. They have only gone dead on me once so far while working out. Not bad.
Sound Quality: Please remember that I am comparing a $27 set of IEMs to an $80 set (I realize you can get much more expensive than my Klipsch too). Also realize that bluetooth was not really designed for music it was designed to connect a phone to another device for voice transmission so bluetooth does degrade audio quality. My Klipsch are wired and not bluetooth. The Jams have a strong bass response, sometimes too strong. Depending on the song it can be a little muddy. The Jams have a good midbass but again due to the strong bass it can also be a little muddy at times. The midrange is pretty good with decent detail but I wish it was a little more open/spacious in the upper end which would give it a little more detail. I do believe that the midrange is somewhat masked by the strong bass presence. Lastly, the high end response is the weakest area. I wish the upper frequencies were brighter and more pronounced (not overbearing though). They remind me of a cheap speaker where the highs are there but you are wanting more. While this sounds like I am really bashing the sound quality I am not. I am trying to be overly picky for those of you who are (that is not an insult as some people are very picky about the sound they want). Also, for $27, these earbuds sound good. Do they sound as good as my Klipsch, no but they are not supposed to. Bluetooth is a factor that the Klipsch do not have to worry about. Also when you pay more than double the amount for the Klipsch you do expect to get something more than just the name. If they would back off the bass a little and open up the upper midrange and strengthen the high end response these very well could be a 5 star set of IEMs. They are in the ballpark but need a little fine tuning to get there.
Overall these are a great bargain. You get good sound quality for a good price. Give them a try and see what you think.

Great continuation of the Star Wars story

When I was a kid Star Wars came out and was a big part of my childhood. I have always enjoyed the original 3 movies and brought both of my sons into the Star Wars fold. The next 3 movies came out and they were ok but did not hold up to the original 3. They did not have the same look and feel of the originals. This movie does not fall into that. It has a similar look and feel of he original 3 and fits in perfectly.
Now to be honest, it is a sort of re-telling of the original Star Wars movie with new characters and of course some old. Some of you may not like that. Also there is a death that I did not like but some of you may not mind.
The sound and picture quality is great. This is a very enjoyable movie and your kids will love it.

Great Dryer At A Great Price

We got this dryer as an "Open Box". I believe it was still new as the factory tape was still on it. It was missing the shoe rack and has a small scratch on the door. The best part was this is a $999 dryer that was on sale for around $750 and we got this one for $525. What a deal!
Before purchasing I researched dryers and a lot of different brands have very good rating so it came down to features vs price. This one won it hands down.
The performance is excellent. We do not have a high efficiency washing machine so we do not have the advantage of less water in the clothing. This dryer dries our clothes in half the time of our old dryer. I tested it the first day and it is still continuing to perform at the same level. Less electricity being used and less wear on clothing as they do not have to be "baked" as long in order to dry (I believe this to be the larger drum allows the clothing to fall more freely and allows the hot air too circulate better).
Some notes about the steam option for wrinkled clothes. LG uses a tank that you must fill instead of a direct water line. You will need to decide which works best for you. If your clothes are really wrinkled you will need to iron otherwise this works very well. Do not try to steam just one article of clothing or it will come out wet. You need to do 2-3 articles of clothing to prevent this.
All in all a great dryer at a great deal and saves me money in the long run.
The delivery team was excellent and even reversed the door for my wife. They were very friendly and professional. Great job!
