Bought a different brand 48" TV, but it didn't fit my wall mount. Took it back and got this instead. I've always had good luck with Vizio, and now I know why. Got this 50" for less than the other brand 48", and it fit my mount perfectly. EXTREMELY easy to setup. Good picture, and it works perfectly with my Vizio soundbar. Really happy with this purchase. The only drawback is it has a little bit of the "soap opera" effect that LED TVs seem to have. I thought that issue had been worked out in current generation LED TVs. It's not bad enough for me to worry about though. I'll stick with Vizio from here on out.

While on vacation, I realized I needed some Bluetooth headphones because I'd left my regular ones at home. Went to Best Buy and found these Skull Candy headphones. When I went to pay for them, they rang up for more than the sticker on the shelf indicated. I paid for them, then went back and checked the sticker. I realized that the sticker was for different headphones, even though the ones I purchased were sitting directly above the indicated price. Oh well, I thought that price was too good to be true. Anyway, these are earbuds instead of the "hook over the ears" which I prefer. Other than that, the sound is fine, and the price was good. Satisfied with my purchase.

Really like this TV. Had to chat with Vizio to get it setup with my soundbar. Once that was done it worked like a charm. Easy to setup. Only grip is sometimes the skintones are a little off. Other than that, love it. Easy to get into and out of the apps, like Netflix.

In my opinion the fan is not too loud. I don't recall hearing it at all. I have it in my lap constantly and it does not get too hot.
