After my Onkyo system bit the dust, it was time to upgrade and build a nice surround sound system. I went with this midgrade receiver for the price point and the features. It hasn't disapointed. Nice selection of connections on the back, like the fact that I can run a second sub. Setup was easy, wifi is reliable.
The T50 is not your run-of-the-mill floor standing tower speaker. Just snap off the grill and take a look under the hood - you'll love what you see. With one 1" silk dome tweeter, one 6.25" extended throw composite driver, and two performance tuned front-firing sub bass radiators—all engineered with Polk’s proprietary Dynamic Balance technology, its highs send sound soaring, its mids are made to shred, and the bass you crave gets a massive boost even at the lowest frequencies. Its audio improved - for the people, by the people - signed, sealed and delivered! Easy to setup, supports Dolby and DTS, and connects to most home theater receivers, stereos or home theater processors. Have fun and play but prepare to be blown away!
Quality sound at an affordable price. Got a pair of these for the fronts, a pair of bookshelfs for the rear, and a center and sub. The clarity and sound blows my old Onkyo out of the water. Great for movie nite and music alike.

I tried a smaller 7" tablet for portability but realized I wanted a larger screen. The 9 and 10" tablets were too big and bulky for my tastes. So I decided on this 8" tablet. It works good for my needs. Easy to setup and use. I've had this for a couple of weeks now and not had any issues with it. Nice display and a decent camera.

Finally got tired of keeping track and shuffling through a half dozen remotes for my entertainment purposes I set about finding a universal remote. Since I wanted to control with my phone I decided on the Hub. Having no prior experience with a universal remote I was hesitant about setup and usability, but I needed a solution so I gave this a go. So, armed with the info about my system necessary for setup I gave up my whole weekend to set this up. Gathering info, taking the Hub out of the box, connecting to wifi, introducing all my equipment, setting up activities, and testing, including a couple of snafus that was due to human error took all of an hour and a half. The Hub walks you through the entire setup. So easy even a child, I take that back. even an adult can set this up. I should know, I'm 55. This far exceeded my expectations as to what this can do and ease of use. I also use this on a tablet because it's easier to navigate on the larger screen. So far I've had this setup and running for a couple of weeks now and it's been very reliable and trouble free. My only regret is not pulling the trigger a long time ago. Don't be intimidated, if you run into any trouble, there is a whole community of users on the Harmony Forums to help you out including the folks at Harmony.
