Use to set up my camera when mounting to different mounts. I do not leave it on all the time as this severely reduces battery life of camera. It works great for still shots or video set ups.

Purchase other cameras before finally getting the GoPro. I should have gotten this camera first. I use it when I walk and when I hunt. I use it on my motorcycle and it is outstanding. Wish I had not wasted money on other cameras..
