Great range, limited settings

My old router (by old it I mean it was only 18 months old) was headed south. After reading many reviews, I decided to try this space-age looking D-Link router. The range is great, but it does not have much customization capabilities. If you want an easy set up router with good range - and can tolerate the price - this is for you. (I bought mine on sale, which made it more tolerable to buy.) Otherwise, in retrospect do you really need a tri-band router? I have used it for about six weeks now, and have not had one drop out yet.

Our 9 year old dryer went out, so I needed a new one. My budget was very limited so this one at ~$400 fit the bill. It is a very basic dryer, with minimal settings (see pictures on BB website). The inside of the drum (where clothes are placed) has no light. But if all you need is dry clothes at a low price, this is it. Clothes dry in less time than my old GE, so hope to see a lower gas bill. Time will tell if it lasts for 9 years like my GE.

Not for prime time

I read many online reviews on BB and other sites. The plus on the MyCloud Mirror is the ease of set up and the GUI is very simple for people new to the world of NAS. However, the system is extremely slow, took 2 days + to back up about 12GB and that is on a 1GB wired network. The system also would drop off the network; my laptop was not able to find it in Explorer.
For a user that has a few MB to backup, the Cloud Mirror would probably be ok but for anything else look elsewhere at systems like QNAP, Synology, etc.

iPhone 6+/iPad Air, etc., wireless access from how far away??
I was told by a BB rep that this would allow me to access my files via a data connection on my iOS devices and/or others, from ANYWHERE that I had a data connection. Is that truly the case?
e.g., let's say I'm in Tibet, and my home is in Ohio, USA. does this device allow me access to my files as long as I have a data connection?

Yes, it is supposed to do that once you register the device on WD's site, but I returned the device because it was not stable. If you have a lot of files to back up, this system is very slow.
