Be Careful of the Packaging

Picked this up for my wife. Got it home and quickly went through the set up. Got to the step to connect to my Wi-Fi router, but there was no option for that. Bummer. Took it back and the people in the store said it was a very common mistake (and there were several that had been re-boxed on the shelves). Moral of the story, double check with a sales person as to what the equipment does.

We had to take the first one back because it had Windows 8.0 instead of 8.1 and continually lost the internet connection, but the second one is fine. It's a nice basic computer. Windows 8.1 does take a lot of getting used to. Honestly if I had it to do over I would have tried to get one with Windows 7.

The original Spiderman followed Stan Lee's story pretty closely and let's face it Stan created a great story and a superstar comic book. This remake was written by some Hollywood hack and it's just not very good. Should we be surprised? Amazing? Hardly.
