We really did not have much choice, since they require you to buy a new cord with a new stove. I'm not sure if that is for safety (not a bad idea!) or so that different cords may need to be used in different outlet configurations, but something to keep in mind when shopping for electric stoves.

A solid electric stove

We started shopping for a new stove when the oven on our 20+-year-old electric stove stopped working, and the fix was going to cost about a quarter of the way to a new one. This is a solid stove with convection oven, and a flush-top range, which was something we've wanted for a while. We've only had it a few weeks, but so far so good. Cooks a bit faster than our old one, so that may take some getting used to.

Like a bad score from a bad Off-Broadway play

I wanted to like this-- I really did. I am a big fan of the first three Meat Loaf albums as well as Jim Steinman. Years ago I tracked down his solo album "Bad For Good," and recently tracked it down again to put on my iTunes because I like it so much. I have listened to the new one several times now, admittedly mostly in the background while working, but it strikes me as over-wrought, bombastic and formulaic, and not overly enjoyable.

Small footprint, big drive

The new SE has almost all the same capabilities of the larger 6S, but in a size equal to the 5S. We opted for the 64 GB SE when upgrading our kids phones, since the 16GB 5S that they had just don't offer enough memory. I really wish Apple would start at 32GB, but they know people will pay more for the increased capacity.

We got these for our last couple of iPhones, and decided to put them on the new ones we got for our kids. It adds an additional layer of protection from scratches and breakage, and will supposedly absorb shock and break before the phone's screen. The techs at BestBuy put them on, which is better, since if they messed up the installation, they can just grab another one.
