:Laying Down The Law was a very underrated album. The Law was a good rock band with two great musicians in it. Paul Rogers & Kenny Jones make a awesome team. Paul Rogers voice is simply w/out equal. Laying Down The Law is one of Paul Rogers best songs since the early Bad Company days. Other great tracks are Stone Cold, For A Little Ride, Nature Of The Beast, and Stone. A definite 5 star rock album.

Madman Across The Water contains some of the most soulful songs Elton John & Bernie Taupin ever created. This was one of the greatest albums ever recorded. Madman Across The Water has some pop hits, like Tiny Dancer & Levon. Indian Sunset is another highlight of Elton & Bernie back to the old west of Tumbleweed Connection. Madman Across The River is a haunting track delivered by Elton with a passion. The Nasties a very under-appreciated Elton song that shows a sensitive side to his wonderful singing voice. Rotten Peaches has a bluegrass feel to it. This is a song about a convict on the run. Goodbye is a requiem for the album. It seems to express Taupin's ambivalence about his profession. This album has a great mixture. This album is noteworthy for having guitarist Davey Johnstone joining the Elton John Band. Also bassist Dee Murray & drummer Nigel Olsson are heard for the first time on a entire Elton John album. The quality of the songwriting on the album is breathtaking. For an Elton John fan it does not get much better. This one is a must have that shows how Elton's music was. There is not a bad track on this album and it more than earns a five star rating.

No Rest For The Wicked is the first album to feature Zakk Wylde and he does a good job with nice metal riffs that are very heavy sounding and bold. This album was amongst the finest made by Ozzy in the eighties. This album is the sound of Ozzy rediscovering his metal roots and creating a full blown heavy metal album. All the songs are worth listening to, there isn't a weak song on the whole album. This multi platinum album features some of the best songs like Miracle Man, Breaking All The Rules, & Fire In The Sky. No Rest For The Wicked primarily contains straight up hard and heavy numbers. If you enjoy big riffs and bold guitar solos then this is a superb album. No Rest For The Wicked is an enjoyable piece of madman mayhem that showed an artist who though again working with new collaborators could be depended upon to deliver the goods. If you like Ozzy and you don't have this cd you better get it because you are missing out on some great music. This is an essential album to have you won't regret buying it.

A great comeback record for Aerosmith. One of Aerosmith's greatest albums. Well written and produced and contains a long list of modern classic tunes. Aerosmith They're BAAAACK !! The Bad Boys of Boston never cease to impress. This cd rocks there is nothing bad on this cd-not a song, not a note. With this huge hit cd. It had no less than 4 big hits on it. Love In A Elevator, Angel, Ragdoll & the monster hit Dude Looks Like A Lady. The band pushed its sound out into some new direction, polished its older styles, and rocked its way back towards the top. Awesome record brought the band to mainstream. Its rock, bluesy and full of fun for the spirit.

^This album was conceived and written for the stage as Alice took a full theatrical production of this work on the road. This was Alice Cooper first solo effort after leaving the original band lineup. This is classic roll n roll. This classic album presents Gothic roll n roll at its best. Catchy songs, dark humor, more hard rock/metal than his earlier efforts. The king of shock rock proves he still the best at his game. Right away listening to the song Welcome To My Nightmare you are greeted with a creepy and evocative psychedelic jazz number. The classic song Only Women Bleed is a women trying to share her feelings with her callous husband. Another highlight The Black Widow has a narrated opening by the incomparable Vincent Price. Steven has a Liszt piano notes that raises the hair on the back of the neck. A really great tune is Cold Ethyl. It's a somewhat heavy tune with a garage rock sound that Alice did excellent on. The Awakening is a bit of a chiller that implies the singer has killed his wife. Some Folks a soft shoe shuffle for the demented. Department Of Youth another anthem of rebellion. The track Steven is one seriously, warped, disturbing little song there. Rare is the album where every track is good, but here it is. This album is a must have.

This outstanding album was the debut of Sammy Hagar as lead singer of Van Halen. It is much different from the music they made with David Lee Roth, but, it is still good. There's no denying that all cylinders were firing for these guys. This Van Halen cd is amazing. The guitar riffs are great and it sounds like the guys are having fun. Great rock is just that great 5150 is great rock. The mix of songs is fantastic, & are perfectly placed on the album. Does it get any better than this ? Eddie Van Halen is one of the best guitarists in the world. This album has it all a great mix of melodies and guitar rock. What makes Eddie so great is his guitar skills combined with his ability to write memorable tunes. Sammy Hagar is also amazing and a very good performer. The songs blow you away. 5150, the debut of Sammy Hagar, is Van Halen at its apex of its creativity. If you ever buy just one Van Halen album in your entire life, make sure its this one.

One of the best debut first albums by any band. Possibly the finest debut album ever produced. The tunes are solid from beginning to end & most of the songs have become classic standards. The album is the ABB doing what they do best. They are talented musicians who knew how to play their instruments. The album contains two classic songs written by Greg Allman Dreams & Whipping Post. The searing bass line to start off Whipping Post followed by dueling guitars, two drummers in complete unity and bluesy vocals.The Allman Brothers Band are one special group of musicians. Lead By Duane Allman blistering guitars solos & mean licks traded back and forth between guitarist Dickie Betts The rhythm section is the best there is Barry Oakley thunderous bass followed by the drumming duo of Butch Trucks & Jaimoe Johnson. Last but not least the swirling organ & soulful & bluesy vocals of Greg Allman. The first note on Don't Want You No More has you hooked on the ABB . On the Muddy Waters classic Trouble No More the ABB version is on fire. There is not one bad song on this album. What you get is the dual lead guitar onslaught of Duane Allman & Dickie Betts. Barry Oakley opened a world of bass players ears with his style & unique way. Drummers Buth Trucks & Jaimoe Johnson highlighted a floating rhythm section. Do your self a favor and pickup this cd today.

Steller Live Performance of Joe Satriani and band

Another great performance captured live of Satriani & company doing what they do best. Joe Satriani guitar playing on the cd is intensive. All songs are simply stunning. The collection of songs are fantastic sounding better then the studio releases. Joe plays hard, fast, and clean. Joe's backing band Jeff Campitelli on drums, Stu Hamm on bass, and Eric Cardioux on keyboard and rhythm guitar playing are simply stellar. This is great as it gets. Any one seeing Satriani & company live on stage knows that they are best on the stage. Recorded on December 28, & 29, 2000 at the Fillmore in San Francisco if front of the hometown fans. Satriani has a sound all his own with such powerful creativity. This album shows off his extra ordinary skills as a musician & being recognized as the master axe man shredder. The teacher to guitar virtuosos as Steve Vai, Kirm Hammett, & John Petrucci of Dream Theater. This is a great album by one of the world best guitarists. A double live cd over 2 1/2 hours of great music that will not disappoint. Do your self a favor and pickup the cd now.
